Over 30 years experience in thermodynamics and heat transfer analysis. Analysis options ranging from hand calculations, through 1D and 2D models to complex, inter-linked 3D FE models or conjugate CFD assessments.
Extensive experience in modelling all aspects of gas turbine heat transfer at the system, sub-system and component level: whole engine, fan, compressor, combustor, turbine (including blade cooling), installation, transmission, bearing chambers & gearbox.
Detailed knowledge of modelling of, and airworthiness requirements for aerospace Critical Parts.
Concept design and detailed analysis of non-gas turbine applications. EV and industrial heat management, cooling systems and heat exchangers.
